Olde Lyfe's Mikuna

2/2023 I could not be more pleased with this herdsire. He is consistently in the TOP 25% on the 4 top categories on EPD's, AFD SD SF and %>30. At 4.5 yrs old, he is holding nicely! He has beautifully organized staple, and high frequency crimp style and a super soft hand. His fiber is a rich dark Fawn. As of the last update, Raven had not had her baby, but NOW SHE DOES!! And boy am I pleased!! A dark fawn girl, with exactly what I was hoping for. Moms long staple length, dads fineness and moms density have produced a thick scrumptious well organized fleece on this 5 month old girl. She will make her debut at the National Fleece Show in July ad then in the fall shows!! Olde LYFE's Marabelle. 7/2022 MoKa now is the proud sire to 3 incredible cria and 1 more on the way. The breedings I used him for were to the following dams: Snow Diamond Chile Pepper- a fading med brown girl. They produced what I think is going to be a roan(on bay black)(?) male, with excellent conformation, straight legs and dark curls. 4-Sight's Just Joy - a TB female. They produced a dark fawn crib, but tragedy struck and the cria passed away. Snowmass Lovelight - a med Fawn. This was NOT a planned breeding as Lovelight is MoKa's Dam. However, the cria is a spectacular little dark fawn female. Hoping her legs straighten out as she gets bigger!! She came into the world at just over 10.5#! Snow Diamond Raven - we are anxiously awaiting this birth! 8/18/21 MoKa has decided he is ready to be a breeder! and boy are we ready for that too! He has been bred to 3 girls so far and looks like he has nailed it in his first try! Spit tests are confirming pregnancy's. I am very pleased with his 3rd years histogram. 19.8 AFD 3.9 SD 98.8 Comfort Factor 115mm staple with a 52.2 MC This up and coming male will add incredible genetics(when he is old enough) to any program! He is solid in bone structure and very dense. He has 4" staple length at 6.4 months of growth! His fiber is bright, high frequency crimp style with nice bundling. He is just the sweetest teddy bear at just over 8 months ! Divine Love is a legend in the herd sire group. He has passed exquisite genetics to many many of his progeny. MoKa is the product of this thru his mother, Snowmass Lovelight. From his mom, he gets the sweet curious demeanor. He is easy to handle, stands perfectly for inspection as if knowing what he is sporting is worth the look ! On his fathers side, Alexander McQueen, a big boned TB male, carrying genetics of the WORLD TB FLEECE champion Snowmass Sterling Legend. Packing these incredible genetics in to one little guy makes taking a look worth it! I have every confidence that he will continue to develop nicely and be able to hold his own in the ring against some of the biggest ranches in the country.
